Scottish Weddings
"Today is the start of a beautiful tomorrow"
Scottish Weddings can take on many themes depending on how the bride envisions her special day, here are a few examples of recent weddings.
For a more modern take on the traditional tartan castle wedding we used tall candelabras entwined with trailing ivy and white roses as table centres while white and ivory classic colours dispelled a crisp clean romantic theme within the castle venue.
Alternatively, many couples prefer to adopt a more subtle theme such as a suggestion of the time of year they are marrying (i.e winter) and base the flowers, colours, even the bridesmaids dresses around this.
Country house or stately home. Pimms and lemonade with canapes, or champagne and strawberries on the lawn, swing jazz band, garden games such as croquet, bright flowers, an ice cream wedding cake.
Who knows Nessie might pay a visit. On the beautiful Loch Ness your wedding can be about nature, flowers, music and dancing - a very special place to get married.
Highland themed weddings are accentuated with thistles, bag-pipes, white heather, the best Scottish beef and tablet with the coffee....
A Winter Castle Wedding
Christmas carols, deep red bridesmaid dresses, turkey followed by christmas pudding and mulled wine, christmas cracker favours, a large christmas tree with fairy lights, mistletoe, roaring fires, dark lighting, cosy atmospheres.
The Medieval Wedding
Scroll invitations, medieval dress, a candlelit banquet, a harpist playing, long tables with goblets, hog roast and sword fighting….
Seeing two people deeply in love make a commitment to each other is very special in a civil partnerships marriage ceremony.
Other themes we love include:
- Contemporary luxury in ancient surroundings

- Murder mystery weddings
