Jacobite Room: A contemporary setting within the 18th century building, it is available for your wedding reception throughout the year and is hired for exclusive use. Its magnificent views overlook Princes Street and the Firth of Forth, providing stunning backdrops for wedding photographs.
Gatehouse Suite: The 19th century Gatehouse is situated at the entrance of the castle and comprises of two adjoining apartments. The Court Martial Room offers an ideal venue for smaller wedding ceremonies while the adjoining Ante Room is available for drinks and canapes. A private terrace with views of The Royal Mile and The City of Edinburgh provides an interesting location for your wedding photographs. It is available for most of the year except during The Edinburgh Military Tattoo in July and August.
Queen Anne Building: Located in the heart of the castle, the building offers a private facility for daytime wedding ceremonies and evening receptions. The adjoining glazed courtyard area provides gathering space for pre-dinner drinks creating the perfect start to your wedding celebration. It is available for day and evening use throughout the year except in July and August, and is hired exclusively. Ceremonies can be held from 4.00 pm onwards in conjunction with an evening reception in the wedding castle.
St. Margaret's Chapel: The beautifully preserved 12th century chapel is the oldest building in castle and a perfect wedding location for small, intimate ceremonies. The cobbled area with its panoramic views of Edinburgh creates a historic ambience for your wedding photographs. Complement your castle wedding with a private viewing of the Scottish Crown Jewels.
