Wedding Cars

Bride and Grooms have a number of decisions to make when choosing their transport for the day.

What kind of transport? Horse & carriage, vintage or modern cars, colours, how many cars do we require.....lots of things to think about!

No matter what you choose you should be looking for a reputable, trustworthy business with reliable vehicles to ensure you get to the church safely and on time or late by arrangement

How many cars are needed?

Traditionally 3 cars are required

1 for the Bride and her father or whoever is giving her away

1 for the bridesmaids and mother of the bride

1 for the groom and grooms parents

The car for the groom will pick him and the best man up first, take them to the church and then return for the groom’s parents

The cars for the bride and bridesmaids leave from the bride’s house with the bridesmaids arriving first to be on hand to assist the bride when she arrives.

After the ceremony the bride and groom leave together in the bridal car with the bridesmaids and best man leaving in the bridesmaid’s car and both parents then travel in the groom’s car

In the current economic climate brides have been cutting down to 1 or 2 cars but with the package deals for multiple vehicles offered it can still be affordable to have 3 cars.

Depending on distance cars can sometimes do double runs to help economise but remember that even with a ten minute journey the car will arrive around 30 minutes after the first arrives.

Photographic stops are not a problem but do need to be costed for when making your arrangements
